Webster Groves LIONS 2023 Fourth of July Carnival & BBQ

We said most of this several years ago, and it is still true today….

Two simple words……“LION’S Carnival”.

Two simple words that have meant so much, to so many, for so long. Since 1926. That is a long time!

Another year to remember… 1960. That’s when the LIONS were invited to join in with the Webster Groves July 4th Community Days, at Memorial Field.

That’s a long time as well, and the LIONS are still working on improving the experience.

Eden Theological Seminary has graciously allowed us the use of their property again this year.

And we are very grateful. Located at the corner of Lockwood Ave. & N. Bompart, 475 E. Lockwood Ave in Webster.

“Rides”, you say? You gotsta have rides? We got your rides. 18 of ‘em. Including 2 inflatables for the younger crowd.

We’ve also got two unlimited ride wristband days: (Wristbands $30)

Saturday, July 1st, and Sunday, July 2rd.

You can ride from 2pm to 11pm. Each day is only $30.

Food? Now you want food? Well, the LIONS do have some good eats.

We’ve got BBQ; , chicken sandwiches, bratwurst, burgers, and hotdogs, and maybe a surprise of pork burgers..

Want it to go? We will have a carryout area available as well.

Well, friends, there are games to play, live music to be heard, and rides galore! (I may have mentioned the rides. There are some real humdingers. Go ask your grandparents about that one)

PARKING-

Handicap Parking is on the West parking lot of Eden’s campus for $10/car.

Across the street, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church there is $10/car parking available. (Please cross at Lockwood and Bompart intersection).

The Webster University Parking Garage for $10 an approximate 8 minute walk away.

All parking proceeds go to Webster Groves High School Band-Aides.
